Adapted from well-known Chinese writer Jia Pingwa's novel of the same name. Directed by A Gan, the film is about the dreams of migrant workers. Kind-hearted waste collector, Liu Gaoxing, played by Guo Tao, helps his friends in need, even building a small plane to take the corpse of his co-worker home. This is actually a comedy, with the strong accent and local culture of Shaanxi province at its core.
