This series of textbooks contains a list of HSK words for foreign students to study and learn in
preparation for the HSK.
Through the use of these textbooks, students should be able to master 3,000 words within one year.
These textbooks contain many examples and exercises, which will improve students' Chinese, and ability to
complete the HSK successfully.
These books have the following features:
Systematic learning program - The one-year study plan consists of three textbooks, with each book
containing four months worth of study. A month of study is made up of four weeks, and each week is
composed of five days of studying 12 words a day, with added 'weekly practice' sessions. This schedule will
help students master the 3,000 words within one year, and will also allow them to fulfill the requirements for
the intermediate level of HSK and above.
Methodical arrangement of content The words to be studied daily range from the simple to the
complex, and become more difficult as study progresses. Different levels of HSK words (e.g. A-level words,
B-level, C-level, D-level) are included in the study. As students move forward, A-level and B-level words
will appear less as they are replaced with more C-level and D-level ones. As well as this efficient method
of studying vocabulary, these books also have added classifications and exercises for measure words,
conjunctions and suffixes.
Diversity of study materials --- Each daily study plan includes words and expressions, pronunciation,
word definitions, synonyms and antonyms, commonly used collocations, examples of usage, as well as
exercises. Despite the comprehensive coverage of each word, students can easily complete a whole day's
content within one hour, due to the author's ingenious arrangement of the diverse study materials.
Typical language materials This textbook series includes rich and illustrative sentences and
allocations, and pays great attention to the usage of words, in order to help the students to learn the words
